Product description −
Prokupac originates from the Bokanja Hill vineyard site, located at 330 meters above sea level. Clay-rich soils with pronounced sand and stone content allow the variety to develop rich aromatics, preserve freshness, and build an elegant structure.
Following hand harvesting and grape selection, the wine undergoes cold maceration for five to seven days, achieving greater concentration of color, aromas, and flavor. Fermentation takes place at lower temperatures to preserve the fruit character that defines the variety.
The wine is then aged for twelve months, partly in barriques and partly in large 4,000-liter Slavonian oak casks. This approach preserves the varietal identity of Prokupac while adding complexity and refinement.

FROM AN INDIGENOUS SERBIAN VARIETY, THROUGH COLD MACERATION AND A YEAR OF OAK AGING, COMES A PROKUPAC FULL OF CHARACTER.
Winemaker’s NoteProkupac holds a special place in Serbian winemaking, and our goal was to showcase its elegance rather than only its power. Every stage of production is therefore focused on preserving fruit expression and the variety’s distinctive identity.
Aromas of ripe sour cherry and sweet cherry are naturally complemented by spicy notes of clove, cinnamon, and vanilla. The result is a wine that remains true to the variety while gaining additional complexity through aging.
Soft, silky tannins make it approachable today, while its structure and balance allow it to continue evolving in the years ahead.
