Royal Cellar Heritage
The Origin and the Moment That Changed Everything
Aleksandrović Winery planted its first vineyards in Vinča as early as 1903, when our great-grandfather Miloš Aleksandrović became one of the founders of the Venčac Winegrowers’ Cooperative. This region near Topola had already been recognized since Roman times, and later during the Karađorđević dynasty, as one of the most significant wine-growing areas in Europe.
After decades of interruption caused by war, the winery resumed its work. However, the defining moment came in 1992, when Živan Tadić sent us the original recipe for the renowned Trijumf wine, once served at royal courts across Europe.
A recipe that had spent years far from its homeland returned to Vinča, becoming a bridge between royal heritage and a new generation of Aleksandrović wines.

From Vine to Bottle, One Unchanging Cycle
To achieve optimal ripeness and concentration, we leave only the finest grape clusters on the vines and harvest them exclusively by hand. Throughout the year, each vine undergoes more than fifteen carefully planned interventions, while yields are naturally limited to just 1 to 1.5 kilograms per vine.
Once the grapes arrive at the cellar, tradition meets modern enology. Through controlled fermentation and aging in French oak barrels, we craft wines that express the authentic character of Oplenac — wines shaped by the land, the climate, and more than a century of family experience.
The result is reflected in the fact that Aleksandrović wines are featured in the World Wine Museum in Bordeaux and on the wine lists of some of the world’s most prestigious hotels and restaurants – from Japan, China, and Russia to Western Europe and the United States.
Wines Shaped by the Place They Come From
We believe great wines are never created by chance. They are born where land, climate, and human expertise meet in perfect balance. That is why every vineyard, every row of vines, and every harvest plays a role in creating Aleksandrović wines.
